W Hotels, which has been setting new standards in lifestyle luxury for more than 27 years has opened W Punta Cana, marking the brand’s first all-Inclusive hotel.

Brian King, President of Marriott International, Caribbean and Latin America, said: “W Hotels has been breaking the mould since 1998 – and we’re just getting started. We’re dialling up the bold and bringing our iconic edge to the Dominican Republic with the debut of W Punta Cana.”

The highly anticipated resort was designed by Zanobia Arquitectura. The hotel’s design aligns with the firm’s architectural commitment to delivering cutting-edge creativity with robust construction practices, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and lasting durability. Zanobia Arquitectura redefines the adults-only, all-inclusive landscape by merging the daring energy and distinct design of W Hotels with the tranquil beauty of Punta Cana’s beaches.

King remarked this as, “a vibe, a movement, a new way to travel. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created and the incredible local community and partners who helped make it happen. We’re not following trends – we’re creating them.”

The hotel shelters 340 rooms and suites, each starting at a spacious65 square metres. With ocean views throughout, the resort sits on the beachfront coupled with pools, 12 distinct restaurant, bars and lounges and a blend of wellness and sophistication in the AWAY spa.

The resort is inspired and lends its design to the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic. It seamlessly integrates local elements with the brand’s signature style, where architecture and interiors echo the rich colours and textures of the Caribbean.

“This is a space for the curious, the creative, and the culturally connected,” comments Omar Rivera, General Manager. “Every corner of the resort invites guests to explore, engage, and experience the Dominican Republic in a way that’s intriguing, elevated, and often unexpected.”

The W Punta Cana is a major milestone in the W hotels global brand evolution – with no doubt more development news to follow – maintaining the signature bold design, vibrant energy and distinct guest experiences.
