Designed by Jean-Michel Garthy, Aman Nai Lert Bangko has opened, marking the group’s second opening in Thailand…
In a momentous unveiling, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, has quietly opened its doors, introducing a new era of understated elegance in the heart of the Thai capital. This marks the second Thai outpost for the revered hospitality brand, and its most ambitious yet.

Tucked within the historic sanctuary of Nai Lert Park – an exquisite, century-old enclave of lush greenery belonging to the illustrious Nai Lert family – the vertical retreat floats above the canopy like a tranquil mirage. It is here where Aman has crafted its latest architectural ode to stillness and sophistication.
Rising 36 storeys, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok comprises 52 impeccably appointed suites and 34 branded residences. Each suite – starting at a generous 94 square metres – is conceived as a temple to calm. The interiors are hushed – think tonal palettes, expansive living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the treetops and skyline with cinematic precision. Aman’s pivoting light panels transform the space with a gentle gesture, blurring the boundary between bathroom and boudoir for an ambience that is at once ethereal and deeply personal.

Elevated gastronomy lies at the heart of the experience. On the ninth floor, Arva celebrates rustic Italian fare through a lens of seasonal purity, while 1872 – a moody, convivial bar named in tribute to the Nai Lert family patriarch’s birth year – offers intimate hospitality experience against a lush, tropical backdrop. Nearby, The Pool Bar exudes effortless glamour, and feels oddly grounded with clever landscape architecture scheme.
High above, the 19th floor is reserved for the fortunate few. The exclusive Aman Club level hosts Sesui, an omakase experience of quiet perfection, and Hiori, where artful teppanyaki becomes performance. It’s a private, rarified world for residence owners and in-house guest – a whispered conversation rather than a declaration.

Wellness, as ever with Aman, is given its rightful temple. Spanning three floors and 1,500 square metres, the spa is one of the most expansive in the city, grounded in traditional Thai healing arts. Eight treatment rooms, a serene Banya Spa House, steam rooms, saunas, cold plunge pools, hydrotherapy suites and movement studios promise a complete sensory recalibration.
At its heart lies an elliptical courtyard encircling a venerable Sompong tree, its centuries-old presence anchoring the entire property. Here, the serene pool ripples gently in the dappled light – a sacred pause in a city that rarely stops.
And indeed, in a city known for its vibrancy, Aman has created something singular: a floating world of calm, an urban oasis where time slows, and the soul can really breathe.
