Bonjour, Sax Paris – a bold new riff on luxury and lifestyle in the heart of the city’s 7th arrondissement. Marking the French debut of LXR Hotels & Resorts, the design-forward gem transforms a storied 1899 telephone exchange into a symphony of style, soul and savoir-faire.
Owned and developed by Compagnie de Phalsbourg, Sax Paris has been designed by Karine Journo in the spirit of the 7th arrondissement – where art, culture, and sophistication converge – the hotel invites guests to relax and soak up its elegant atmosphere.

“As we surpass the milestone of 1,000 operating hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, this latest addition to our portfolio marks our first luxury hotel in the heart of Paris,” said Simon Vincent CBE, president, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Hilton. “The opening also symbolises our continued commitment and growing presence in the French market and exemplifies our dedication to delivering unique and exceptional hotels in the world’s most iconic destinations.”
Sheltered inside, 200 mirrors, glittering Baccarat chandeliers, a hidden garden with a heated pool and jacuzzi. Throw in crystal art by Arik Levy and a bold ceiling mural by street artist Sto – and you’ve got a hotel that belts out in full Parisian glamour.
Feisal Jaffer, global head, LXR Hotels & Resorts, said, “Sax Paris, LXR Hotels & Resorts marks a significant moment for our brand as we debut in France. Paris is a city of timeless allure, making it the perfect setting for LXR’s expansion into new, culturally rich destinations. As we continue to grow our global portfolio, we remain dedicated to curating independent, one-of-a-kind hotels that offer deeply personal and transformative experiences.”
Inside, 118 sleek rooms and suites – some with terraces, others with in-room cocktail stations – channel Parisian cool with natural materials, marble bathrooms, and wood-panelled calm. Minibars, meanwhile, have been curated in collaboration with Le Bon Marché’s La Grande Épicerie de Paris, naturellement.

The F&B options are as striking as the interiors. Le SAX, under the direction of Executive Chef David Maroleau, delivers refined French cuisine from morning through evening, blending classic flavours with contemporary style. Above, Kinugawa Rive Gauche brings Franco-Japanese precision to a striking two-storey rooftop, where expertly crafted sushi meets panoramic views and cocktails infused with shiso, yuzu, and elevated elegance.
“We are delighted with the recent opening of Sax Paris, LXR Hotels & Resorts, which has already set itself as one of the trendiest venues in Paris, fully embodying our vision of what luxury lifestyle should stand for in the heart of the city’s prestigious 7th arrondissement,” Feisal Jaffer, Global Head of LXR Hotels & Resorts. “The hotel offers a unique view of Paris’s iconic monuments that no one should miss when coming to the City of Light!”
Mission accomplished. Sax Paris arrives as an exclamation point on the European luxury scene. And in true Parisian fashion, it’s making all the right noise – with design hitting the high notes.
