Audi bids adieu to tradition and ushers in a new era of design with the reimagined A5/S5. The latest model sharpens Audi’s design DNA, fusing the sleek proportions of its predecessors with a more dynamic, sculpted presence.
At the heart of this reimagined grand tourer is a choice between precision-tuned powerplants: a 2.0L TFSI four-cylinder delivering 268hp, or the more formidable 3.0L TFSI V6 in the S5, packing 362hp. Both channel their energy through a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch, feeding Audi’s signature quattro all-wheel-drive system. But numbers only tell half the story – enhanced steering precision, a stiffer torsion bar and a reworked suspension transform the A5 into a driver’s playground, slicing through curves with newfound agility. Opt for the S5’s adaptive S sport suspension, and the chassis lowers by 20mm, locking in a more hunkered-down stance.

Wheel options start at 18 inches for the A5 and climb to 20 inches for the S5, with summer-ready rubber emphasising the car’s road-hugging prowess. But it’s the aesthetics that steal the show. The signature honeycomb grille dominates the front, flanked by ultra-slim, knife-edged LED headlights. The rear sports a full-width OLED light strip – an intricate composition of more than 360 individual lighting segments. The S5 takes the aggression further with pronounced air intakes and deep-set diffusers, ensuring presence from every angle.

Inside, digital minimalism reigns – so Audi! A sweeping 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen blends seamlessly with an 11.9-inch driver display, while an optional 10.9-inch front-passenger screen extends the digital expanse. The dashboard integrates Audi’s dynamic interaction light, an ambient strip that reacts to locks, turn signals, and drive modes with a pulsing glow. Music lovers can immerse themselves in the Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, complete with 20 speakers and a staggering 810 watts, or opt for headrest-integrated audio to keep calls private and navigation prompts discreet.
More than just a refresh, the new design of the A5/S5 is design in motion (in style). It is an evolution of form and function – precise, performance-driven and undeniably Audi.
